What to Expect

We’re so happy to invite you to a special gathering to celebrate and welcome Sarah’s baby into the world! This will be a little different from a traditional baby shower. Sarah has shared that what would feel most meaningful to her is a creative gathering focused on loving wishes for the baby.

In the Great Hall of Green Mountain Monastery, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, we’ll share light refreshments, spend time together, and take part in a few simple, meaningful activities. Everyone is welcome, and will have access to the lawn and trails surrounding the Monastery, and is encouraged to visit, catch up, and explore. 

About gifts

Sarah has a registry with several larger items that will be most helpful as she prepares the baby’s new home. Partial contributions toward those items are appreciated in place of physical gifts at the shower. Her registry makes it easy to contribute by purchasing a gift card directly on the registry, or contributing to a cash account. Another way to support her getting these items is to bring a check to place inside a handmade heart envelope, provided at the shower.

A small request

Instead of bringing a store-bought card, we invite a note, drawing, photo, or message for the baby to be placed inside the heart envelopes provided at the shower.
